There are some people who have
inquired as to what the BRYAN STATION HALL OF DISTINCTION is. That
question is very easily answered. It is a group of individuals who
have been recognized by the BRYAN STATION ALUMNI ASSOCIATION for:
* significant personal and professional accomplishments;
* their activities in community/charitable works; and
* who currently present a positive image for students.
* also, the honoree must be a faculty/staff member, or a student
who has been out of school at least ten years.
There are some individuals who have asked just where the BRYAN
STATION HALL OF DISTINCTION is. Why should I get all the easy questions?
Outside the Jon Akers Theater (formerly, the Little Theater), the
hallway walls are adorned with portrait-type, permanently mounted,
photographs of individuals with a summary of their accomplishments.
Still others ask how they may nominate some deserving person to
be honored by being included in the BRYAN STATION HALL OF DISTINCTION.
Those who would ask such a question are advised to either fill out
our ONLINE APPLICATION FORM, or provide information concerning their
nominee to the BRYAN STATION ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, P.O. Box 54504,
Lexington, KY 40555-4504. The information should include the nominee's
name; current address; year of graduation (or tenure); and information
relative to the criteria listed above which qualifies that individual
for inclusion. This information may be provided to the BSAA at any
time and will be retained for consideration whenever selections
are made.
The BSAA depends upon you to provide us with information concerning
the many qualified persons who should be included in the BRYAN STATION
HALL OF DISTINCTION. Inquiries as to the identity of the persons
already honored may be made to this website. It is certain you will
be impressed, and will know someone deserving to be included.
