Hello Bryan Station High School Key Club supporters!

I wanted to share my excitement with you over the great success our Key Club had this weekend at the Kentucky - Tennessee 2008 - 2009 District Convention in Gatlinburg, TN.

We had six Bryan Station students attend the convention, along with our advisor Ms. Brandy Jones. We all worked very hard this year in Key Club and it paid off as we walked away with 9 awards at DCON (District Convention).

We were awarded the following:

Most Outstanding Club in Division 10-11
Most Outstanding Club Secretary (Taylor Hughes)
Most Outstanding Key Clubber in Division 10-11 (Dana Ecton)
Most Outstanding Kiwanian Advisor (Marvin Mills, Bluegrass Kiwanis)
1st Place Ronald McDonald House Club Service Award
2nd Place Impromptu Essay Award (Anna Tussey)
Kiwanis Family Award
1st Place Single Service Award
3rd Place Achievement Award

My hope both as our club President and a student at BSHS is that this excellent news be publicized. I hope sources such as the BSHS website, BSHS morning news, and any other community news outlet will share with our school and community what great things we are doing in the name of service.
